Bring your history
Every paddle you've already recorded can go on your map in one go: islands you've rounded, loughs you've circuited, water nobody had recorded before you. It takes two minutes to ask for, then a short wait.
- On a computer or your phone's browser, go to garmin.com/account/datamanagement and sign in.
- Choose Export Your Data, then Request Data Export.
- Garmin emails you a download link. Download the .zip — don't open it.
- In Fulmaire, drop the whole .zip onto Choose a file.
Garmin usually sends it within a day or two. A long history can take longer — up to 30 days, Garmin says. The link expires, so download it when it arrives.
The zip is large because it holds your sleep, heart rate and other health data as well. Fulmaire reads only the activity files, ignores everything else, and doesn't keep the zip. A computer on Wi-Fi is easier than a phone for this one.
- On strava.com in a browser (not the app), open Settings → My Account.
- Under Download your account, choose Get Started, then Request download.
- Strava emails you a link, usually within a few hours. Download the .zip.
- In Fulmaire, drop the whole .zip onto Choose a file.
Fulmaire reads the activity files in the archive and ignores the rest (photos, comments, settings), and doesn't keep the zip.
What happens when you drop it in
- Paddles go on your map oldest first, so each award is dated to the paddle that earned it.
- Runs, walks, rides, swims and gym sessions are left out, going by what your watch recorded.
- If a paddle was saved as a walk or a run by mistake, Fulmaire spots that it's on the water and asks you before adding it.
- Anything already on your map is skipped, so dropping the same zip twice is harmless.
Only a few paddles?
You don't need the full export. On Garmin Connect, open an activity, use the ⚙ menu and choose Export File. On Strava, open the activity, use the … menu and choose Export Original. Drop in as many as you like at once.
